How Organizations Work

There is no “free group” and no “paid group.” Every group in Reveal is the same thing: a gathering with a name, members, and a home — free to create and free to join.

What differs from one group to the next is which capabilities the leader chooses to enable. Nothing is turned on by default.

Think of it like a church building. The building is always the building. The lights, the sound system, and the offering plate are all optional — you switch on the ones you actually use.

1. Giving links (optional)

Paste any external donation destination — Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, Givelify, a Stripe Payment Link, or a custom URL. Add up to five. Members tap the heart on your group page and pick where to give. Reveal never touches this money — 0% fee, 100% goes to your organization.

2. Public board (optional)

An @handle page you can share publicly. Off by default. Turn it on from your group settings when you’re ready to have a public face.

Reveal Premium is a user capability, not a group one. Every person on Reveal can subscribe to Premium directly from the Pricing page, regardless of what any group they belong to has enabled.

Joining a group does not grant Premium. Member subscriptions that once shared Premium access are retired — Premium is only available through Pricing (or an existing personal subscription).

Support through the heart button is always giving — never Premium. Premium lives on Pricing.

• On a group page, leaders can offer optional giving links. Those gifts go to the organization — Reveal keeps 0%.
• On the Reveal Pricing page, the primary action is Subscribe to Reveal Premium. Support flows to Reveal directly.
• The heart button anywhere in the app opens giving — either Reveal or the group you pick — and it is always separate from Premium.

1. 1Leader shares an 8-character invite code, a link, or a QR from the Group Hub.
2. 2A member opens /join (or the link) and enters the code. If they don’t have a Reveal account yet, one is created inline.
3. 3They’re in. Joining is free. If they want Premium tools, they can unlock Reveal Premium anytime from Pricing.
