Group Leader Guide

For leaders

Group Leader Guide

Create a group, invite members, and optionally add giving links. Joining is free — Reveal Premium is personal.

Step 1

Create a group

  1. 1Go to revealbible.app/start-group.
  2. 2Enter a group name and (optionally) a description.
  3. 3Signed in? You'll see a green indicator. Not signed in? Fill in the Account section right on the form — Reveal creates your account and the group in one step.
  4. 4You land in your Group Hub at /org/{your-slug}.

You can create up to 3 groups per Reveal account.

Step 2

Open Leader Tools

On the Group Hub, tap the briefcase. It opens Leader Tools — a command center with focused workspaces. Members never see this.

  • Board — edit and publish the public Group Board.
  • People — members, invitations, roles, and moderation.
  • Gatherings — schedule, go live, and manage RSVPs.
  • Teachings — teaching and media library for Hub and Board.
  • Giving — optional organization giving links and gift records.
  • Organization — name, description, settings, and danger zone.

Workspaces live under /org/{slug}/manage/…. Choose a destination from the command center — you don’t scroll one giant admin page.

Step 3

Invite members

Open Leader Tools → People. Use Invite people to share your group’s invite code and join link.

  • Tap the invite code — copies the join link for your group.
  • Share that link by text, email, bulletin, or slide — or print the code.
  • Your invite code (8 characters, e.g. ZHLQLKTJ) doesn’t expire until you regenerate it.

Advanced invite options

Expand Advanced invite options for expiring links (for example 30 days) or usage-limited links. Most leaders only need the permanent invite code.

Step 4

Managing members

Still in Leader Tools → People:

  • View role, join date, and avatar for every member.
  • Promote Member → Leader for a co-leader. Demote Leader → Member as needed.
  • Ban or remove members when necessary. Banned members can be lifted later.

Step 5

Board, Gatherings, and Teachings

  • Board (/manage/board) — cover, identity, sections, appearance, content, and publish. The public result is your Group Board.
  • Gatherings (/manage/gatherings) — schedule, edit, cancel, go live, and track RSVPs. The Hub also shows this week’s gathering to members.
  • Teachings (/manage/teachings) — media library that feeds Hub and Board.

Step 7

Reveal Premium is personal

  • Joining a group never grants Reveal Premium.
  • Individuals who want Premium subscribe on Pricing — purchased directly from Reveal by the individual.
  • Organization giving and Reveal Premium are separate. Reveal Premium is a personal subscription purchased directly from Reveal. Don’t promise members that joining unlocks paid tools.

Step 8

Organization settings

Open Leader Tools → Organization to update the group name and description, open help guides, or (owners) delete the group from the danger zone.
